What is PimPam ?

A place for families

PimPam is an indoor playground for families with children of kindergarten age. Anyone can come and visit us: a child with their mom or dad, with grandpa or grandma or with the whole family and their friends, groups for birthday parties of six to 60 people, daycare groups and other groups. Young and old people can meet old and new friends here. Online reservations are recommended to ensure that there are enough places available and that the café is not reserved for a private party. Entry is valid for one play time, i.e. from 10am to 1pm or from 2pm to 6pm. There is no fixed arrival time and you can arrive whenever you want. There is a large, bright café area. It is the perfect location for your next children’s birthday party and all other parties with lots of small children. You also have the option of booking the entire play café for your private party.

People are only fully human when they play.

Welcome to PimPam Village!

Village life in PimPam unfolds around the village square in front of the town hall and the common land at the foot of the “High Peak”. Next to the town hall is the train station – climb up into the warehouse above – and on the other side is the fire station with a ladder and slide pole. On the opposite side of the village square are the bakery, the café and the village shop, and just above that are Grandma and Grandpa's apartments. On the edge of the village are the allotment gardens. In “Pikler’s Garden“ the smallest of the little ones can take their very first steps with exercises by the Hungarian early childhood educator Emmi Pikler with bridges, planks and paths. The older ones, who already dare to go higher up and deeper down, can climb the “High Peak“. The steep walls require skill and climbing skills. The “Deep Mine“ slumbers beneath the Alps and is waiting to be explored by you.

One of the luckiest things
that can happen to you in life is,
I think,
to have a happy childhood.
Agatha Christie, British writer

The PimPam philosophy

Playing is part of being a child, like eating, drinking and sleeping. It puts the mind in a state of special concentration that players find pleasant. They immerse themselves in a fantasy world. Imagination is the foundation for later ingenuity and problem-solving skills. Playing is our favorite way of learning. Because playing is practice that is fun and prepares us for life, for unknown challenges, the unexpected. What you hear you forget, what you see you remember, but what you do you understand. Playing is a learning process, and toys are our children’s tools. At PimPam there are plenty of opportunities for children to let their imagination run wild and create fairytale worlds. Slip into one of our many costumes and into your favorite role. Come to PimPam play and be who you want to be today ― together with old and new friends! Explore the world of adults together, in a miniature setting.
